Want to know what makes our Modern Barn Blocks unique?

Let's take a closer look at our barn quilts since they are a brand new and unique product.

Modern barn quilt closer look material thickness

First, a little bit about the material.  We start with 10 mm thick PVC sheets.  This material is very durable and sturdy, yet lightweight.  It will not rot, rust, absorb moisture or get infested with insects.   In addition, our materials are made in the USA.

We have created a barn quilt block that will be worry-free for you throughout many seasons to come with very minimal fading from exposure to sunlight.  As you can see, the surface is completely smooth and waterproof.

Another unique aspect of our barn quilts is the flexibility in how they can be mounted or displayed.  Because of the smooth surface, you can use products like Industrial Strength Velcro or even large Command Strips.  If you want the most security with your hanging, use a basic drill bit to create holes in the corners and then use the appropriate screw type and length for your surface.  The PVC material is very simple to drill through, so simple I had my 5 year old help me demonstrate without hesitation.  I pre-marked the spot 0.5 inches in from each side.

And finally, our barn quilts are so light, even my 5 year can easily hold them (he's very helpful)!  Each block weighs approximately 4.5 pounds and is 23 inches square.  There is a 0.5 inch white border around each block design that beautifully frames the colors and makes them stand out against any background.

    Pat -
Unfortunately, we are not able to do custom, one of a kind blocks at this time. We work hard to produce a variety of styles and colors to appeal to many people. That being said, I do ask for a lot of feedback from followers on Instagram and Facebook to find out what colors and block designs are most popular. We are also constantly working on new block designs for the changing seasons and upcoming holidays.

Im in Australia and love them from my time I lived in the States. How much would it cost to send one to me?

Would you do custom work? I need 2 barn quilts 3 foot square to put on my horse barn and two smaller 6 inch square matching blocks for my mailbox. I would like them to be blue and red in your truth pattern (red in center) if possible. Thanks!

    Chris -
I see that you asked a question about how we paint and protect our blocks. This is what makes our barn blocks unique. They are not painted and they are not made of wood. We use 10 mm thick PVC sheets that are low weight, non-corroding, weather resistant, and non-rotting. Our materials are also made to be digitally printed so we can create our own unique barn quilt designs in the colors of our choosing.

I hope this answers your question. If I can be of any further assistance, please let me know.

Explain a little about how you paint and protect the colors of your signs.
